Recently we had a client whose story sounded like something out of a NY Times bestselling romance novel. A story that we have all dreamt of and thought didn’t exist outside of overly dramatic love stories on the big screen. After hearing her story, I knew that I had to share it with you. It’s just too good to keep to myself.

After college, Miss A moved to Madrid to teach English as a Second Language. She was fluent in Spanish and loved the language. She loved the Spanish culture, environment, and food so it seemed like a sensical decision to spend some time in Spain. Not to mention, she would be living an adventure. It wasn’t long after arriving to Madrid that she met a handsome American on his second tour teaching English abroad. He took on the job to fulfill his passion for travel and adventure and Miss A fell for him immediately. And he fell for her. With only a handful of required work hours per week, she and her new love interest were able to explore other parts of Spain, Portugal, and all over Europe. They took advantage of every opportunity they had to travel and see other parts of the world. They bonded over their love of adventure and took every opportunity to get out of Madrid and explore what was around them. One of those trips took them to the top of an active volcano where Miss A’s love, got down on one knee, presented her with a ring, and asked her to marry him. Without a shred of doubt, she said yes.

After their teaching assignments were over, they moved to the Pacific Northwest and began planning their wedding. When it came time to decide on a  grooms gift, Miss A decided that she wanted to give her groom something as romantic as the proposal he gave her. She wanted to give him a very intimate and unique gift which is what lead her to book a session with us at Belle Boudoir. It was something that he wouldn’t expect, couldn’t give himself, and she would be giving an even bigger piece of herself to him. Miss A knew it was the perfect gift and we couldn’t have agreed more.
