I encourage brides to bring some of their wedding day accessories (garter belt, ring, veil, shoes, etc) to the session, but Ms C brought her actual wedding dress! Her Fine Art Album was one of my favorite albums I’ve ever designed and I loved how the series below looked in it. Not only will this make a great wedding day gift, but it will be a treasure to Ms C and her husband for a very long time.

Ms A wanted a Marilyn Monroe-esque makeup and hair style which Nikoma brought to life. Not only did she have an uncanning resemblence to the holywood Blonde Bombshell, she was a natural in front of the camera and I think Marilyn could have learned a thing! Her new husband who will deploy soon is going to be so happy to have these photos to treasure while he is away. Thank you Ms A for letting me share your beautiful images!

It has been a very busy summer and I’ve fallen far behind blogging all of the wonderful women who’ve given me permission to post their images. I promise to post them all in the next couple of months, but before I begin playing catch-up, I thought it would be fun to post some photos of a groom this summer opening his boudoir gift from his bride! As a wedding photographer, I’ve witnessed tons of grooms opening cuff links and watches on their wedding day — but never have I seen the expressions and excitement that you see below as when this groom opened his boudoir gift! It’s nice to know that all over Washington and beyond, grooms are opening gifts just like this with the same excitement.

One lucky guy out there is getting an awesome surprise birthday gift this month! Ms M was also celebrating her birthday as well making it a gift for herself just as much as it will be for him. Ms M brought a men’s shirt, a golf club and golf balls, and a ton of lingerie from Victoria Secret’s new line.

Lingerie. Wrap up pieces of new lingerie and what’s that at the bottom of the box? A coffee table book (we call it the Bedside Table Book) with a personal inscription on the cover. It contains 30 of your favorites images, and its “lay-flat pages” allow them to spread across the center. Nothing in a Best Buy ad can top this, no way!
Wall Calendar. Imagine the look on his face when he opens a calendar, but not just any calendar — surprise! — a large 11×17 calender with 13 stunning images of you!
Stocking Stuffer. Our Fine Art Album can be purchased as a pair, with one large album and one mini copy. Stuff his stocking with the mini copy! And then make sure he opens the large album last.
Wallet. Give him a Gucci leather wallet with a tasteful boudoir image of yourself inside! 25 years from now it will still be there, treasured and protected.
Cell. You’ve always declined his requests for naughty cell phone pictures… so wouldn’t it be great to get him that new phone he’s been hinting at? Boy he’ll never suspect what he’s going to find preloaded!
