Our Mission: to help women of any age, size, or shape feel confident and sexy by creating effortlessly beautiful images through an empowering, pampering and uplifting experience.
Meet Cheryl (Photographer / Owner)
Cheryl has photographed over 1500 women since starting her boudoir photography career in 2005. She is devoted to creating an amazing experience for you, improving her skills as an artist, and keeping the studio and equipment fresh to give you the best possible images.
She studied art in college and spent most of her time oil painting. She even took her studies abroad to Europe. After graduation, she purchased her first camera and began photographing everything she could. It wasn’t long before she discovered that her gift and passion was boudoir. She fell in love with capturing artistic beauty and producing images that changed the way women felt about themselves.
Cheryl lives with her husband of 10 years and two dogs. She loves the rain, stormy northwest beaches, moments of reflection, and traveling at every opportunity.
“The best part of my day is when I reveal the images I create to my clients. Hearing “is that me?!” and all the smiles, laughter, and tears that follow are why this is my calling: to make the world a better place — each happy, confident woman at a time.” — Cheryl
Meet Nikoma (Makeup & Hair / PR)

Nikoma has over 15 years of experience in makeup and hair including everything from commercial projects to weddings to training/educating other artsits. She became our primary makeup artist in 2012. Like all of the makeup artists we partner with, she is amazingly talented and can create the exact look you are dreaming of.
Recently married, she lives with her wife, daughter, new puppy, and two cats. She loves hiking and traveling.
“As women, we give so much of ourselves to everything and everyone around us: our partners, children, jobs, etc. while this is one of the most beautiful things about women, it also causes us to put our desires on the back burner. I love Boudoir because it is a day of pampering that every woman deserves and a reminder that we are beautiful and sexual beings. Participating in a Boudoir shoot is one of the most empowering things a woman can do and I am truly honored to be a part of it. I’m looking forward to seeing you at Belle Boudoir and helping YOU find your inner sex-kitten.” – Nikoma

“I’ve always had a passion for art and creativity. I love what I do for Belle Boudoir, as I feel I get to express some of my artistic talent in editing. It’s intriguing and empowering to see all of the different shapes, colors and sizes of clients that come in to do a session and to see their before and after photos. Cheryl and the whole Belle Boudoir team have a real talent to make all women of all types look and feel beautiful.” — Sarah
Meet Clara (Bookmaker)
Clara makes all of the books we deliver to our clients. And they are exceptionally beautiful! She has engineered new products and ideas to make our offerings even better.
She graduated from Seattle University with a BA in philosophy. She was the in-house bookbinder at de Medici Ming Fine Paper for 2 years and had a printing apprenticeship where she was given an introduction to the magic of letterpress printing. She joined us in early 2015. Her passion is bookbinding and she’s continually honing her craft.
In 2016 she was accepted into the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, Colorado to learn more about the craft and take our books to a new level. She learned advanced bookbinding techniques with a special emphasis on working with leather.
When she is not making books, she is collaging cards, playing with her kitty, and relaxing with friends and family.
“I was first introduced to bookmaking in 2011, and I have been in love with the art form ever since. When I make books, I become an ambassador to the world held within them. I am quite honored to be a small piece of this experience.” — Clara
Meet Nero (Mascot)
Nero is a 5-yr-old Cavalier King Charles mix who has such a hard job: enjoying cuddles and belly rubs all day! He hangs out in our “photo screening” room (separate from the studio) and will greet you when you come back from your break to view your pictures at the end of the day.
